Sage Council's campaign against reckless development in NM

The Sage Council of Albuquerque has been struggling to stop irresponsible sprawl and the destruction of sacred and ancient Petroglyphs which are an extremely important part of Native culture.

On the November 19th show of New Mexico Indymedia Television guests Rose Ebaugh, Leona Morgan and Autumn Chacon talk about Sage Council, a people of color-led community organization building self-determination and relationships through organizing, education and leadership development. On Friday night the focus was on Sunday Nov 20th's march to give homage to the Petroglyphs. Plus a discussion on issues surrounding the impending bulldozing of sacred native sites by irresponsible developers.
