Student Animal Legal Defense Fund at the University of New Mexico School of Law is co-sponsoring the first annual Animal Rights Film Festival and Silent Auction, along with VUNM, Vegans and Vegetarians of UNM.
We will show The Meatrix Trilogy, The Acceptable Sin, Behind the Mask, and Earthlings.
The items at auction include gift certificates from local vendors including SACHS tattoo and piercing, Winning Coffee Co., il Vicino, and Herbivore Clothing Co.
Suggested donations from students, staff, and seniors are $5 per person. This is in an effort to raise funds to bring Peter Young (animal liberationist) and Steve Best, PhD (author, speaker, professor) to speak at our law school.
